We do import those cars here... at least one of them. Holden makes the Pontiac GTO. They are manufactured in Australia; there they are marketed as the Monaro, but still built with the entire GM driveline, including all aluminum Gen III 5.7L LS1 V-8 and 6 spd manual transmission.
