5hp less than the stock rods can handle
Really I haven't thought too much about it. I wanted somewhere in the range of 300hp which seems I've already hit (Sam said the factor to figure flywheel HP from a Mustang dyno is divide by .75 which should give me 305hp at the crank). There are a few guys making 400hp at the wheels with stock shortblocks so I'll probably look for 300-350 at the tires. I just don't want to lose the streetability of the car so I may concentrate on lower RPM torque/HP than a high RPM killer.
