You really don't think that there are enough ricers to keep supporting the high prices on these cars? If no one were really buying these cars, the prices will eventually come down. Hell, I can put up my 20 y/o car for sale for 10k. Will I sell it at that price? Probably not, my price will eventually start to come down.
Same goes for these poor may type R motor swaps. Talking about only 1k to build them. What about my car? Motor swap cost around 2k, does that mean my car is worth around 8k? Probably not.
