I would go ahead and rewire your fuel pump. It solved my issues. All I did was wire it directly to a relay (per Scott's instructions) and she was alive and well. Mine was making a sound that was indicitave of it cutting out. It just seemed like it wasn't getting enough voltage. 12 strong volts fixed that right up.
Do you have an aftermarket pump? It just seems like the wiring can't handle the amperage that the pump is capable of. Most of the DSM guys have to rewire their pumps as well...so give that a shot and see if it still does it.
