I wouldn't go that far. My trans has been holding up fine for as much torque as the 03 makes.

But Ford has been putting in crappy rods/pistons for years in the GT's and 96-01 cobra, but people keep buying them so I don't think much will change. If ford was going to suffer a big loss, it would have already happend, probably around 96-98.

About the colored gauges, I guess its cool, but I don't really care about any of that. I do wish Ford wasn't going in the retro direction, but oh well, if they do it right it will look good. I am more concerned about what engine's Ford and SVT are going to use, and how much the new mustang will weigh. Under 3500lbs would be nice.

I don't really think we need a bigger motor, we haven't even reached the full potential of the 4.6L 4v yet. All I know is that the cobra NEEDS to keep the forced induction motor. As soon as we go back to the high compression NA modular we are screwed.
