$5,500 OBO. Willing to trade for a 240 or an e30.
This is my craigslist post it has pictures:
1991 Honda CRX with a B-series
Exterior:
-It has the original paint which is in amazing shape. The paint has a few scrathes on the bumpers and near the tail lights
-The headlights look brand new even though they have been on the car since I bought it five years ago.
-The tail lights I swapped from another CRX that I had at one point and they are in perfect condition.
-The corner lights and bumper lights I bought new a couple of years ago and they are still perfect.
-The wheels came with the car when i bought five years ago and they are still great except for one has a dent on the lip; the dent has been there for almost two years now and the tire doesn't lose air pressure and you can not feel the dent when you are driving. If it was bad I would have fixed it when it happened but since I can't feel it and it doesn't affect the pressure I left it alone.
-The tires are brand new Maxxis 195/50/15's. Two are Maxxis MA-V1's and two are Maxxis Victra's. I bought them a few weeks apart and they didn't have the same ones in stock but they are similar.
-The mirrors are spoon replicas.
-The rear windows are tinted but not the front windows.
Interior:
-The interior is all from a CRX SI. Everything is mint except the driver seat which has a tear from getting in and out, and the front dash which was my DX dash and I painted it flat black. The black matches the rest of the interior it's just not as good as the original paint.
-It has an armrest.
-The doors say "CRX" in the center of them.
-The cluster is from a UK crx that goes to 9,000 rshared_pm and 150 MPH. I don't see a lot of people with this cluster, it's nice.
-It has a rear strut bar.
-OEM Honda shift knob and black shift boot with sublte red stitching.
-Black Ebay steering wheel with red stitching. It has a quick release hub. I think the wheel is 320mm.
-It has an alarm with keyless entry. (sensitivity can be adjusted.)
-Oil pressure and Oil temperature gauge in the center console.
-EP3 radio.
-No A/C
Engine:
B18C1
-I rebuilt it and it has less than 10,000 miles on it. The first time I drove it after the build I changed the oil right away, then i changed it after 1,000 miles, and I have changed it twice at 2,500 miles.
-Nippon ITR pistons 81.5mm
-GSR rods
-ITR cams
-Skunk2 valves
-Supertech springs and retainers
-ARP head studs
-ITR oil pump
-New water pump
-New thermostat
-Every seal, gasket, and bearing is brand new.
-Micropolished and balanced crankshaft
-5 angle valve job.
-Fidanza 7lb flywheel
-ECU is a p28 chipped.
-Megan headers to Greddy exhaust. (Sounds so good. Doesn't sound like the rest of the Hondas I see around)
-Hasport mounts
-Wiring harness done by Rywire. Very clean job.
-
Transmission:
-GSR transmission
-Competition Clutch Stage 2
-Honda transmission fluid
-No grinds the entire five years I have had it.
-Hasport shift linkage
-
Suspension:
-Skunk2 springs (about one year old)
-KYB AGX shocks. (about one year old)
-Neuspeed front strut bar
-Ebay rear strut bar
Brakes:
-CRX SI rear discs.
-SS lines up front
-CRX SI master cylinder
-CRX SI proportioning valve
-Have a set of new rotors and pads for the rear that I haven't installed
-Cleaned out the brake lines and added new fluid.
Random things I changed:
Fuel filter, spark plugs, wires.
Even though it is my car and of course I think it is better than all the other CRX's out there but really in Orlando and Kissimmee I haven't seen any as clean as mine. My friend called me one time and told me he saw one that made mine look pathetic but that's the only one I have heard of. Over the five years I have had this car I took care of it like a baby. Every day I open the hood and check the oil and coolant and brake fluid just to make sure nothing is leaking. Honda's are beasts, nothing ever breaks. All I ever had to change on this car was a starter and little things I can't even think of right now. The suspension is perfect, it's not too stiff on the highway but as soon as you put load on the springs and shocks it gets stiff and handles ridiculously well. My has an e36 and has some suspension work done and he was impressed by how my car handled. I check the oil level everyday and it doesn't go down at all. The paint is really nice, especially for being 20 years old. I have a lot of receipts.
