In reading your posts, I too have realized that you are just a keyboard ninja who likes to get a rise. This is a big boy business we are in. This is how we make our living and we take it seriously. I have eight employees who rely on my business to feed their families (as does Luke and many others). While this is a hobbyist forum, there are many members here who do come in for knowledge-and also allot of proven professionals. And when a guy like you gets a little too much reading under their belt, tons of misinformation starts to flow. Then, we get to dispell this crap on a daily basis with someone who reads garbage posts from people like you. This results in a loss of money and time-both of which our families rely on us to provide.
You need to grow up. Like Luke, I don't get involved in this type of post often. But you are a nuisance. You have proven this with every post you have made. You spend your time picking on for sale posts and creating drama. We are here to share ideas, learn, and educate. Your posts do none of that. Guys like you come and go over the years on these forums-we have seen dozens. You will fade away with time too. But until then, I get to listen to TR members walk in my shop on almost a daily basis quoting how ridiculous your posts are.
Good thing is, me or one of my guys has explained off axis theory quite a few times recently, and been able to properly educate many members in the last couple of weeks. So, it is proof that some good can come from even posts such as this...
All this being said, I would encourage you to come by my shop and check some things out. I think if pointed in the right direction, your love for audio may be able to get channeled in the right direction so that you can do some good for others. If you give me some notice, I could even get this actual car in this post to be here for you to listen to personally. The owner is the rep for JBL and this car is getting the new MS-8 installed this week. The new results will be staggering as this car already sounded incredible.
yea your "big boy business" mind is the same one that came and said that you doubted my competition experience. So when you actually stop being a hypocrit and show that you are truely big boy then you can talk to me matt. until then this thread is useless.
explain 2 things..how do you have off axis when a speaker is dome (aka 180 degree dispersion) and how does a simple opinion of a car (which i showed pics of what i was giving an opinion about) turn into something this big..oh wait i know that answer its because everyone hugged the nuts of the car and when someone came and "nitpicked" at it they felt it was their duty to swing from the nuts and bash the person who had an honest opinion.
Btw a person whom isnt a member here and actually does work in NY sat in this car back at SBN. His feeling was that it wasnt anything special and that it wasnt much better than his own vehicle. (which isnt SQ by anymeans but does have some good quality sound)
for big boy business i guess the fact that i was recruited to diagnose and fix problems in "beast from the east" truck from NY back at SBN 09 says nothing about the quality of work i do. oh well tampa isnt my area and you guys can have it...I know my quality and know people call me in my free time from a full time job to get stuff done...and people who have competed in comps have had builds done by me..i just have nothing to prove to you guys..come to a competition and walk up to me and be a man about things..you'll see that quality is done in time..(aka when money and time are available)
