I am looking to buy an engine to replace the broke one in my 93 del sol, this is what i know for sure, its a stock del sol with a 1.5 engine, non-vtec obd1
The engine I am looking to buy is a d16y7 from a 96 civic dx
the head was replaced with a 95 si vtec, the head was rebuilt by Southwest Motorsports in NY and the block has 63,000 miles on it, this engine also comes with the 96 dx 5-speed tranny which I dont know if its cable or hydraulic, now my question is, will this block fit into my del sol, and what kind of wiring do it need...is this all obd1 or not? Thanks for your help....
