Hell, even with a 5-speed I would install a set of 4.10's.

Who am I kidding........I'd run a minimum of 4.30's.

I would have went with 4.10s if it was totally up to me (parents only let me go 3.23, so I told the guy to put 3.73s in ) .

It's to my understanding however that the AOD's have a Lower (numerically higher) first gear ratio and a higher (numerically lower) over drive ratio. If that car doesn't see usual highway duty, go with the 4.10's!

Gears are the biggest bang for the buck on a stock stang, it really wakes them up. Don't fear the gear, however, 4.30 might put you into overdrive in the 1/4 mile, that's not good.
