Just look at a few Wedding sets and jot-down some portraits you like and try to replicate them!

After viewing the title of this thread and reading your original post, it appears this thread is not only a slight rant but also a thread asking "why a beginner shouldn't shoot a wedding" which is why I replied to the thread and not you in specific.
