On the way to work the other morning a really nice Black Monte SS (86-87 vintage) came up on my bumper. I noticed the real sharp black and orange strip paint job and duals out the back. Sounded good too and we caught a redlight together. The traditional exchange of Lets get it on glance occoured. I was sure that if I power braked and launched hard I would catch air going through the intersection which has a big hump in the middle. The light turned Green he launched hard and had a car length on me. I put the pedal half way down and still caught some air (about 12-psi at that point). After the car came back down I nailed it and the car caught and pulled him so hard It looked like he was standing still. I proceeded to put 7 ot 8 carlengths on him. It was a thing of beauty! The Monte SS was a nice car just didnt have the Go! Its great feeling when you put that much length on the other car!!!
