Since you asked......
Closed hoods are just another parked car, but open hoods are a car meet!

Lowes has pretty good lighting and room near the road to park.

Lots of Room at AMC24. and pretty good lighting.

All meets start small. How about if you and some friends show up,
open some hoods and kick in for some pizza? Each week, some people bring someone with them. You can talk it up at four cooler weekend evening meets. Here's the link:-Bob

FWIW...The Dale Mabry/Best Buy meet is more than VW's. If I don't drive over in a German car, I respectfully park my Honda while I shoot the bull with guys I know who drive German cars.
