Meh...not necessarily. I don't mind it personally...but I've been known to take offset/tilted pictures quite a bit. I like it because it almost gives you the perspective that you would get if you were THERE and looking around. Our heads aren't on tripods

True, but our heads do have ears, and in our ears is a fluid that gives us equilibrium. That's how we know which way is down. Basically, when you're actually looking at something physically right in front of you, even though your head is tilted, your brain still knows which way is which. When you're looking at a slanted picture, your brain FEELS that down is one way but SEES that it's another. Thus, the reason we tilt our heads when we see a slanted picture. It's very distracting.
