cant run a signle tooth wheel. they prolly use the crank and cam sensors. i like the edis as its a seperate ignition control and will run the ignition with no signal from the ecu. coil drivers, vr conditioner, etc.. all in a nice lil module thats easy to change if it goes out. my problem is every once in awhile the ign signal drops out. if i turn the key off and back on, it comes back. ive changed the module, same issue. ive read of alot of people with this issue. only resolution anyone found was 1 guy that swapped to the full stock edis wiring. im not gonna do that. plus i want to run the camry 6 channel ignitor that goes wit hthe camry coils im running. plus i want to get rid of the 36-1 wheel on the front of the crank pulley. gonna be too tight of a fit for my taste when i put the aluminum radiator in. its alot thicker then the stock mk2 unit. not much clearance for the electric fans as it is.

but even if i didnt have an issue with the ign signal being lost once in a blue moon, it is only rated to 6500rshared_pm for the edis6. on the built motor im still collecting parts for, i plan to redline at 8k. so need to switch it up. im actually wanting to try and get a ms3 kit wit hthe daughter board for sequential ignition and injection. if i do ill use the ms2 on a 1uz swap or something.
