I have ridden in cars tuned to similar specs with similar setups, one using the GReddy FMIC and the other using a MRT top mount. Both cars are using aftermarket turbos (VF34 and APS SR40, respectively) and both feel nearly the same at almost identical PSI in terms of lag and power delivery. I prefer FMIC over the TMIC approach. The Sport Compact Car article seems to indicate that an upgraded top mount might not be as beneficial as one would hope, especially for the money.

If you're running the stock TD04, you're more than covered with the OEM top mount.
