Last week I replaced the passenger side outer CV boot on my 96 teg. Today it started ticking again. I looked under the car and the new boot had split. What possible made the boot split. It was a complete boot not the cheap ones that you enclose with screws and nuts. Just so you know this isn't my first time so I have plenty on machanical knowledge.
Is their to much play in the CV joints or did I fasten the clamps to tight. HELP!!!!!!!!!!1
