I know there are a lot of fast Camaro SS's out there, but had to have fun with one that revved on me. Cruising N. DM, a white camaro SS with orange stripes pulls up next to me at a light. This was Thurs nite and I was just doing some tuning so I had been romping the accelerator and letting off earlier. He saw me and when he pulled up he said "Nice car...turbo?". I said "Yeah, mind if I see if it'll hang?" He said, "No prob...try to keep up!"

Not knowing what he had or if he was spraying, I revved up ready to launch. Light turns green...I launch the living hell out of it...reach for 2nd and am looking at him not from the side mirror...but the rear view. Suprised me and wondered if he was having a traction problem.

He pulls up and wants to go from a roll, so we are north of Van Dyke now and I checked my boost settings (safely at .7 - .8 bar which is about 11-12psi). Start from a 20 roll...he gets the jump on me, but I hit 2nd, pull next to him, hit 3rd, pull away from him, hit 4th...leaving him hard.

Good run...he had some loud exhaust but nice car and cool guy. Can't wait to run 18-20psi
