My bro did the same thing on his SR.... except the actualtor part. Running a rich condition like that will actually load up your exhaust with fuel. The black smoke was probably the fuel on the hot exhaust. It probably didn't smoke today because the fuel evaporated. My bro's car shot out the backfire from hell after we fixed his ic pipe. All is well now.

About the actuator, I looked at a CA18 that had basically done the same thing. The turbo was so shot that the shaft had broken in half! I'd do a quick check of the shaft play. Charlie from CMR told me that overboosting T25s usually shows up as thrust play. Good luck!
