very glad they are both ok, even thou they are stupid gearless drunk riding harley guys that never did anything in bike tech beside call sport bikers squids that crash and die all the time giving their fine upstanding drunken asses a bad name.
again, glad they are ok and tell them to hurry back and tell us all how they are way safer riders than us.
fyl
easily done, since i was stone cold sober and still and had a legitimate accident rather than the actual squids trying to stunt at 100mph and crashing to death.
also as a general rule yes, it was mostly sport bikers that we made fun of cause they were always the ones going down. 1 person out of dozens ive seen buried wasn't a sport bike rider trying to show off doing stupid shit and ended up in a pine box (and even he did stupid shit, so shame on him) whereas i was riding home from my family's home since my grandfather had a heart attack and my grandmother recently had her leg removed and is in assisted living so we had the family together for Sunday dinner, followed by coffee and cake.
i had a decent lead, so i flashed my brake light, began decelerating, hand signaled, then turned. i'd say that's a pretty safe way to go and more effort than most would put into slowly and safely turning. meanwhile it seems like frank's front brake failed so he wasn't able to stop and hit the front of my bike.
the broken wrist, foot, and back in 4 places will heal on their own. ive got a boot and wrist brace, nothing needed on the back given the location of the damage. the right ring finger first knuckle is shattered and crushed, im at least 4 pieces. the surgeon gives it a 50/50 shot to save it, and will be screwing it back together and steel pinning it to an external brace to keep everything in position for a few weeks.
i go under the knife tuesday so wish me luck, and thanks everyone for the well wishes!
