From what I've read there is quite a difference between the euro-foci and its domestic counterpart.
Ford isn't just a US company any more after all, they have been a multi-national comp for over a half a century now. Henry Ford was even complicit in supporting hitler and nazi germany after all, even after we were at war with them. Then again he was a big business facist and an anti-semite so you can see why he did such a thing, but one of the great things about being a multinational millionair like Ford and the Rockefellars is you can get away with Treason scott free.
But back on the subject at hand, if its made in europe, its a european car.
One might be able to argue if its like a european model or has european parts, its european, but that's about as lame as the kids who call their crappy S13s Silvias, lol.
Now if a civic was made in Austrialia, it would be an austrailian car, but they don't so that's not a valid case.
Both of my cars were made in europe, so they are both european. Let the poseurs say what they want, but a rose by any other name . . . .
Just cause ford stole all of Volvo's platforms to build their US cars on after they bought them out doesn't make their entire US line european after all.
