The fuse statement I think is nothing more than moot point. I have heard many people say it, but have yet to agree with it. I have seen burned pistons with regular Fel Pro's as well.
Sure they will still burn a piston...have you seen head and block damage on an o-ring set-up when stuff goes wrong?
