Hell, back in I believe March we had a guy from GRM come out in his 5.0 Volvo Station Wagon.
I had a Volvo 245 wagon for a couple of years (alas, with the stock 2.3-liter)...they're surprisingly good handling cars. I imagine it would be a hoot with a 5-liter and some modifications to keep the rear suspension under control.
