Toyota tech and Toyota Tech for sale
Specific car knowlege:
I may be young, but I'm not the typical high school "car enthusiast". I don't believe that F&F was "teh most 1337 moviez in da world". Ever since I was 14, I've been working as an "apprentice" at my dad's car dealership with his mechanic. I've worked on just about all kinds of cars. My first car was a 96 Camry, and with some help of the mechanic, I swapped the rod knocked 5sfe for another one, at the age of 14. I sold that and bought my long time dream car, a 91 MR2, but I sold that because it was auto. I got into the Nissan game for a while and had a clean 92 S13. I also got a drift whore 89 S13, and then I sold the 92 S13 after a year, and just bought an 87 MR2. I've been around Toyotas about all my life. My dad had a Supra-Celica when I was about 5, and he had a 91 Turbo MR2 when I was 7(sealed the deal on me loving Toyota.) Now I do all of the work on both the 89 S13, and the 87 AW11.
Any experience at moderating:
No, but everyone has to start somewhere.
The main job of a moderator is:
Keeping everything clean, organized, and user-friendly. Also to keep out any unnecesary spam, or bashing.
Why should you become a moderator:
I noticed Toyota Tech only has two moderators, one of which hasn't been active in Toyota Tech since 2006. I realize it isn't a very big section of Tampa Racing, but it has become unorganized as of late. There are Wanted to buy threads in the Tech section, and even a Mitsubishi for sale in the TOYOTA for sale section. Overall, I really just want to make Toyota Tech more organized. As you all can see, I'm a very active user, and I'm on Tampa Racing, litterally every day. I feel that I can keep up with the needs of being a moderator on Tampa Racing.
Users who do not like me:
None in Toyota Tech as far as I know. I'm sure there are a few in Nissan tech that don't like me, just because I'm 16 and can't afford a $1,500 set of wheels, or $1,000 coilovers.
Closing statement:
All in all, I've loved Toyotas since I was a 7 year old kid, and I'm hoping to promote Toyota Tech for the better among Tampa enthusiasts.
