The new found glory civic story just reminded me of this one because of Vapor stating I own his old 4 dr GSR.

SO far it hasnt gotten a lot of action because my fiancee is driving it daily, and I drive my 240. But on weekends or trips I am always the driver and we take the car with cruise control.

So we were heading up the turnpike to gainesville goin about 80 or so, and in my review mirror i see an RX-8 and a EBP Si going at it, the si loses but just barely. I think to myself " Gee, I know they are low HP, like 180 or so whp, maybe i have a decent shot!"

So about that time he gets next to me, sees my GF in the car and downshifts and starts taunting me.

I hold up 3 fingers to indicate 3 honks, put the car in 3rd right at about 5500 RPM.. and BAM we're off.

When i shift from 3-4 hes at the rear door. end of fourth hes 3-5 feet off my rear bumper, I went a little into 5th to make sure it was about 1/2 a car and let off.
