1) some of us have cars that actually NEED low offset wheels just to look normal. 8 wide wheels with 0 offset are still not flush on stock front fenders for me.

2) it's about what else is available in the market not what you have. This is a simple comparison concept. If you can get the same wheel with a better offset for less money why would you spend more and get less?
