Would you pay that much for it? I think that civic's resale value is only because of the ricer trend. Everyone and their mom(literally) wants a civic now. I would never pay over $1000 for an 80s civic myself.
Actually, I was very much looking into one at the same time I was looking for the MR2. It was the other car that I was deciding upon.
Trend or no trend doesn't matter. FACT is, you can't find a EF Si for under 3000 unless its a rustbucket. That's their resale, like it or not.
To compare, you can buy the last 300ZX TT for under $10,000 now.
But who wants one of those?
