You are 100% right. I daily drive a 2001 Sentra SE with the RR SR20DE. That was the last year an SR20 was offered in a production car. FWD SR20DE comes with spark plugs and distributor. RWD has the coilpacks. There are numerous differences between the FWD and RWD layout. Internally however, FWD and RWD SR20s are mostly identical aside from different profile cams and compression ratios.
