The 1.8 came only in the LS version models which are the 2dr models, the mirage i have is a Type S which came with the 1.5, the 4g63t engines are swapped into these all the time, some have done it all the way to the awd conversion on them. I don't have time nor the money for that type of swap. Most 1.5 owners do the swap or swap to the 1.8l engine. I rather have the car towed to St. Pete then Orlando, AAA makes you ride with the driver all the way to Orlando. Another engine that could be swapped in the mirage is the 4g61t, which is the 1.6 dohc turboed engine.
