i know what a tune up is....and i have an understanding of how the motor works i just dont know the tolerances of the stock parts are and how changeing 1 or 2 things will effect then ... i planed on building it 2 to 3 times so i can continuely up grade the motor like do the rods and pistons now cams and pullies next time then the crank the time after that... i wont be throwing a tubro in the mix for some time eventualy i will have like 6 g's in it but i wont be dumping it in all at once and the only real way to know how to do it is to do it

or like machineing it so that bigger bolts hold it together to make it stronger
giveing every bolt an extra pnd or 2 of torque so they will be perffect when my gaskets settle things like that...im mechanicly minded and i dont think i need to take a step back rather take another step forward

as far as building it gose i know its not a bunch of parts that bolt up ... its a slow careful process of just the right amount of torque to each bolt ant that any machineing needs to be within certain tolerences every bolt mush be baged and labled and the project is best done bottom one day top the next and i need to planout and aquire all parts befor i begin the project
