The replies, thoughts, and prior experiences here are priceless. I know a few of you really have quite a lot of experience with 351's, 408's, 427's, etc.

I've had quite a few 302's, Turbocharged 306's Proturbokits (on TurboMustangs), Superchargers, Vortech S-trims, Nitrous, etc-

The closest on a Stang to 500 Rear Wheel Horses, was with the Turbocharged Setup I had on the 306. However it was around 440 horsepower at 12 lbs boost with a 64mm turbo.

I had an 03 Cobra, and it put a little over 400 to the rear wheels, but I didn't have the same love for the 03 as I do my Foxbody's.

I went with 87 Buick Grand Nationals, for a few years and they are a blast. I had Champion Aluminum heads, TE-45a turbo, Front Mount Intercooler, and Alcohol setup with 18lbs of boost, and Chip. It put over 530 to the rear wheels and with only a 3.8 liter V6!! That car was amazing and had pulled really strong.

I'm since back in Mustangs which my 91 LX 5.0 Coupe is just beautiful. It has a 306, with Ported Stock heads, Intake, and Vortech S-trim. Had it at Ramseys and it put around 340 to the rear wheels with the Stock Vortech 9lb pulley.

I'd like to do something different now. Accomplish, 500 to the rear wheel or very close Between 450-500 and use a 351 converted to a 408 or 427 to accomplish this.
It would be nice to be able to have a little less compression so it can in the future have the Vortech S-trim put on, and use a little boost to put it well over 500 ponies, and then some..

If any of you have recommendations as to what shop, and group of guys can help me get this done as conservatively as possible ($$$), please let me know.

I'm considering Fordspeed, and Realspeedparts, Rob or Walt to try and help me put this together. I'd like to use Fordspeed, because he has the dyno there, and can just do it all at his one location.

Any other advice or recommendations is highly appreciated. Oh, I'm also wanting to try and use my Twisted Wedge Heads on this setup. I'm going to need a new intake. Any advice on the intake, and probably going to need more than 42lb injectors as well, right? wasn't sure... you all know more than me.

Thanks in advance guys/gals- ( I know there's a few ladies on here with some killer Mustangs)
