We can rebuild all turbochargers found on passenger vehicles, diesel pickup trucks, large commercial vehicles, and locomotives.

Turbo charger rebuilds replace maintenance items that keep the turbo functioning properly. If your turbocharger has damaged components, i.e. Compressor housing, compressor wheel, exhaust wheel, turbo shaft, etc. then it will require more parts which are not covered under a basic rebuild.

Every turbocharger that we rebuild is completely torn down, cleaned, and inspected. All tolerances are checked, and “out of tolerance” parts are discarded. All of the parts are then balanced to ensure proper operation. When you receive your turbo it will be in like-new condition!

PLEASE NOTE:
We see more “rebuilt” turbos that have tool marks all over them, use worn out parts, and are not balanced that don’t work right out of the box. We usually cannot fix these turbos for less than $600

If you have an offer to rebuild your turbo from anyone, make sure this person or shop has a balancer! Make sure any rebuilt turbo has been professionally rebuilt and BALANCED.

Also, be careful when you buy “used” turbos with “barely any” shaft play, damaged wheels, or that are seized up. We NEVER pay more than $40 for any used turbo, because it may take as much as $600 to repair. Keep in mind, your used turbo that you got for $100 might end up costing you nearly $700 to get going again and sometimes much more!
