truth about this tranny-bought for my ef. ef was totalled before install. personally never driven this tranny and previous owner stated no grinds. internals looked super when i opened the case.

this tranny was in my garage while i was building a hydro tranny. tried to install the 1/2 synchro in my hydro. didnt work. reassembled the countershaft and paid close attention to the positions of the friction dampers. new stakenut installed. found out the c clip in my hydro tranny was bad on a sunday so i took the clip out of this tranny to avoid waiting for parts. replaced the c clip taken with new. sealed case.

all bearings are good. gear teeth shaped like houses and the synchros have average wear.
