I have the cluster, the Pig-tail is actually part of the Dash Harness. Is your harness cut???
If you have a Cluster without the tach, all you have to do is install the new cluster with the tach and the tach will automatically work. You don't have to change or add wires.
A Cluster w/tach is just Plug & Play
