Yeah, it wasn't that bad. I'm just way out of shape... that's what happens when you sit in an office all day I think it was just harder than I'd thought it would be since I hit all that clay. I assumed being right on the water would mean all sand! I used 7 ft posts embedded 3 feet.

And no, I have two pretty good sized dogs. It's a 4ft fence. They could probably get out if they really wanted to.



I really only built it to use when I'm home. They have no need to run away if I'm there. It just keeps them from wandering off too far.

And I live way at the top of the bay. So flats boat would be the best answer. It's only a few feet deep for 90% of the upper bay area. And besides, my uncle has a nice 24' Pathfinder that he keeps at Tierra Verde for going out in the gulf
