I ran one for a year or so in my semi-DD (drove it unless it was busted) and didn't mind it. It could get a little scary in the rain.

My first impression of the spool was how resistant it was to turning, which sounds pretty obvious, but it kinda surprised me how you'd turn the wheel and just feel the front tires sorta plow straight ahead instead of follow the direction they'd be pointed in.

But the spool on the street wasn't all that bad.
