Thats the road I was trying to find last year on the way up. I went on that 2 years ago, its US19/129. Its fucking awesome, there is one part on there if you're going south bound its like surfing. I think that road was pretty much as fun as deals gap. Its pretty fucking steep too.

The 2lane,1lane thing switches up. I think it will change 3-4 times. So at certain points you'll have either one. Watch out for UPS drivers on that road they're fucking insane.
