My 302 has the basic bolt-ons on it as of now. I would like to try and start compiling a list of the things I would need to have a competitive, streetable motor that requires not much more than basic maintainence to keep it going. The car is an '89 GT, with a T-5 (for now). The plan is to stay with having the car being a stick.

Im looking mostly for N/A idea, with the POSSIBILITY of at most a 125 shot of spray.

I have heard ideas of 331s and 347s. I would eventually like to do a big block build, but I love high rshared_pm screaming small blocks.

I would like to keep this under $2-3k, not sure if its possible, but would definately like to give it a shot.

Part numbers, places to get them, and any other ideas would be great. Id like to have 'that badass car' here on base. You'd be supporting your country by helping an AF member
