well it looks like they have it all tied up between the ignition battery, cond fan and the power windows. i would assume they rig it so that when the ac was on they cond fan would run as well and maybe they were having some issues with the power windows as well? i would pull the the wires then test these circuits properly and use that as your baseline instead trying to guess why they did what they did
