I have a 97 Dodge Neon, 2 Door, 5Speed (manual trans) RT for trade today. The body has 151k miles, the motor was rebuilt professionally by a shop at 101k miles. I have every receipt for this car since it was new. I'm the third owner, the second was my father. It has a few tasteful mods that make it handle better, and give it a little get up and go. I'm looking to trade for either a stock foreign car (honda, acura, toyota, nissan) or a small pickup truck. I bought this car as a conversation piece for me and my dad to work on, but since he's no longer with us, I see no need to hold on to it any longer.
Good:

Tinted Tails
Every record of this car for the past 13 years!
Interior gets a 8/10 (because of driver seat wear and dash crack)
Exterior gets a 7/10 (because of paint fade)
Aligned Nov 09
Bad:
5 year old paint job fading (pearl white)
few cosmetic dints and dings
One bad shift bushing (depending on time of trade, have some on order [$22.00])
One turn signal lamp cover is missing (on order as well cost about $30)
Most people look down on Neon's, but I will say they are one of the cheapest cars to work on, they're dead simple to work on, and they're pretty quick. Mine ran a 9.2sec 1/8 on Lakeland Drag Strip, and could probably go faster with a better driver. I'm just looking for something different. Worst I can do is say no.
