Shouldnt unless you had damaged to the cap or block.. If there is no scaring or anything you should be able to just get bearings.. Line hone does make it bigger.. the reason why one would usually want to line hone something would be because of damage to a cap or the block or you changed out a cap and you need to make it true again.. So to answer your question, no you shouldnt have to get a line hone unless there is damage to it or a cap has been swapped out.
