I got a msd 6al box. It doesnt have a rev chip in it. Will that limit the rev to a stock setting or will it opereate at full capiability? Do I need a rev limitor chip in it?

msd6a- I heard them talk about this box on the msd website. They said it goes up to 3000 rshared_pm. That dont sound like its enuff, or did I hear that wrong?
