after having owned both, i will NEVER go back to a car that is just lowered on springs. PERIOD. the advantages of a FULL BODY coilover setup far outweigh the price paid. if you are building a car to handle, being able to have more than 5 levels of adjustment is crucial, as is the luxury of being able to adjust ride height. on another note, pillow ball mounts give camper and toe adjustment also. ive driven plenty of cars with coil sleeves/shocks, race springs and struts, etc....and i can tell you that full body coils will always be stiffer and more supple/responsive. my vote. FULL BODY COILS. nothing less.
