What Panasonic needed to do was have someone like Barry Green or someone like that do the settings for the GH-1. Canon had Phillip there so Panasonic needed someone equal to that. They didn't and it's Panasonic's fault. Also when they shot the chart it was crooked and blurry which was strange but in the video footage it was probably the sharpest DSLR.
RED? Maybe if the Scarlet ever comes out than I could see another camera battle. In the next episode I think the Panasonic will shine because of the color tests. If it doesn't do well in the next episode than I will be concerned that something isn't right with this test.
Scarlet will never come next to RED, RED's new chip they released allows 6k, Scarlet will only let 3k quality. Unless they release a new chip when they release Scarlet but I'd never hold my breath on that.
