I would say that a stock GT and a stock WRX would be a lot better race from a roll then from a stop. Personally I was always a big fan of going from 40 because of the gearing in the WRX, from 70 the WRX would definately be at the disadvantage.

There is still the driver to factor into the equation. It could have been a bad driver in the stang that Moldyhands raced or it could have been a bad driver in the WRX that you saw race the V6 Mustang. I know I've watched Frances race a V6 Mustang in her '99 2.5RS, she pulled him from about a 65mph roll. And her car is rated at 165/165 from the factory.
