Default Actual tech kind of: Rod torque ?

im in the middle of assembling the sr, and im running Manley connecting rods...

heres the problem, manleys sheet specifies that the rod bolts be torqued down to 95lbs... while the factory rod bolts FSM is 33lbs... seems like an extreme difference so i checked ARP's site because the bolt is a ARP2000, and arp says not to torque their bolts past 50 pounds or so for the size i have.

so we got some plasitgage to check the clearances at different torques, and from 40lb's to 50lb's im staying right at .015 despite the change in torque which is in spec but a little on the loose side.

so sorry for the novel, but curious if anyone has either run these rods or has experience with them, or just has general experience with a worth while response

thanks
