Its never had any grind issues and it seems with a weighted knob the crappy notchy feeling while shifting is completely gone. Its funny how that stupid knob made the car much more enjoyable to drive.

You need to take it out for a spin thursday to check out the sweet OEM short shifter too, I think you'd like it. Takes like 10 minutes to make and I have 1 or 2 spare shift rods.
