I'm getting my hands on a hydrolocked N/A 2+2 and a rather complete TT motor.
I know the blocks are the same so I'm imagining the TT motor will bolt right up to the N/A 5 speed. I've done a little searching but have already come up with conflicting info. Some same the N/A and TT trannys are the same, some say they are totally different. I know the diff is different, is that why people are saying they are geared differently?
I'm getting all of the piping and everything for the TT motor, the TT fuel pump, the TT ecu, hell, even the TT suspension.
The only stuff I've been able to google is stuff on how to convert the NA motor to a TT, as in change the manifolds and all that good stuff.
I haven't been able to find any sort of write up on swapping one motor for the other. From the info that I have gathered, it appears to be as technically involved as a SOHC to DOHC ka24 swap. Unless of course, I'm missing something.
Any help, info, links, tips, cheat codes would be much appreciated
