I feel your pain too. I was getting body work done on my car in NJ before I moved here to Tampa and they did me good. I think it was a inside job as I told them "NO your not reinstalling the stolen stuff, I will, why would I leave my car here longer and have them come back and rob it again."
After that the body shop owner gave me the hardest time ever. I moved to FL and went back for my car cause it took him 8 months to fix my car all and all.
Good thing I take pictures, it helped my case out a lot against the insurance company and the cops. I provided receipts for all my parts that were stolen.
This is how it all started
This is how I left the car
THIS IS HOW IT LOOKED WHEN I SHOWED UP
I had the head unit face with me of course at home.
They ended up breaking passenger door handle off, then the alarm went off they then broke the drivers window and popped the hood and hacked off the battery cables.
They didn't finish taken the tach but the got this stuff:
SAFC2
Wing
12" sub and amp
Greddy TT
Greddy EBC but not the under hood valve (hidden under battery)
3 Autometer gauges
Thanks to them robbing me I got sooo much more for my money tho. I bought the EBC at $410 when they were new almost. I paid $250 for a new one on eBay!
Then the money I made off the AFC that I paid $380 for when I got it. I got one for $210 eBay.
The gauges came to $190 and I paid $120 for all of them.
NEW GAUGES
Now I have no AFC so now worries about it going missing. Stock reflashed ECU is killer.
