Did it ever occur to your little pea brain that I might have purchased the vehicle with some pre-existing conditions? It was a $1000 dollar beater when I purchased it, it was never some show-car...it just ran and got from A to B.
If you had seen the leather seat that S14 seat replaced, you'd be glad it was gone.
