I have not heard of any dsm with a bad slave cyl on a stock clutch. But again its a dsm so anything is possibile.

How did you figure out your slave was bad?
OK, good, I really don't want to change the master.

I figured out that my slave cylinder was bad by pulling off the boot and having a bunch of black brake fluid dump on me. Then I took it apart and the piston was scored heavily. As far as I know it's a stock clutch. It caused the clutch to completely fail when it went, it was spontaneous. I was driving along normally, pushed in the clutch to downshift, heard a loud pop and the pedal went to the floor, and was dead from then on.

PiercedJD- Dang. I was going to switch to an ACT 2600 ASAP. I want to use the right piston, but the guys at autozone looked, the only 3/4" piston rebuild kit is for a fwd eagle talon, and the boot looks completely different. I guess my last resort is to try using that one, maybe with my old boot.
